An Athletes Foot Home Remedy For All Types of Foot Fungus
An athletes foot home remedy can help people deal
with the most common fungal skin infection.
Athletes foot, also called tinea pedis, must be
treated each time it occurs. And, it often returns and recurs!
The basic symptoms of athletes foot is itching, cracked, blistered and peeling
areas between the toes and on the soles of the feet.
You don't have to be an athlete to suffer from athletes foot. It's not just mens athletic shoes that are to blame.
People, often men, who wear closed in footwear that doesn't allow the feet to breathe
are prime victims. Also, if you have sweaty feet, you may be more prone to this contagious type of foot fungus.
There are some MUST DO's for athletes foot that will help your chosen athletes foot home remedy be successful.
Athletes Foot Must Do's:
keep your feet clean and dry
dry well between your toes after swimming, washing, bathing or showering
some recommend showering is best if you have athletes foot, so that you don't spread the fungus
cornstarch is very popular to sprinkle on feet to keep feet dry
wear cotton socks to absorb sweat - change at least 2 times a day
try moisture wicking socks to clear sweat away
dry shoes 24 hours between wearings
use powder, an antifungal (like non prescription micatin) or cornstarch, on shoes and feet to keep them dry
wear flip flops or sandals in public pools and showers
wash feet first before applying any powder or any home remedy for athletes foot treatment - this washes the sweat off first

Balanced Healthy Diet and Anti-Candida Diet
this athletes foot home remedy may surprise you, but many people claim that watching their diet helps control
their sweating and flare ups of athletes foot
Garlic

use raw, peeled, sliced garlic in between your toes when wearing socks and shoes - keep in all day
this home remedy seems 'out there' to me, but I have included it because many people claim it works - go figure eh?
Usually, after 2 weeks of athletes foot home remedy treatment if you see no improvement, it is best to seek a doctor. You should see some of your symptoms improving.
PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT recommend you try
any of these home remedies,
without consulting your health provider to make sure that they are appropriate for you. For example, if you have diabetes, you are at an
increased risk of infections so it may be best to treat under the guidance of your doctor.
Lastly, when researching home remedies for athletes foot, I came across some very bizarre suggestions. I have intentionally not
included any remedies that I wouldn't use
myself.
Have you tried this remedy? Why don't you share how it went.
