A Balanced Healthy Diet is Critical to Getting
No More Yeast Infections and Candida Troubles
A balanced healthy diet is one of your main tools against
Candida. But, it can be the most
difficult tool to get used to.
Knowing something is good for us, doesn't always mean we will do it.
"People don't change because of what they know,
they change because of what they feel." Dr. Oz
Usually, we don't want to change what and how we eat unless we have to. Unless, we are feeling REALLY bad, it is hard to change our behaviours.
For many families, food and eating is
connected to love and family. It is a way to connect and join together.
Your Body Is Sending You An SOS:
Yeast Infection Symptoms Are Your Warning Sign
If you have Candida albicans overgrowth in your body or if you are suffering from a yeast infection - it is
time. It is time to change to a more balanced healthy diet. Your body is telling you with these health problems.
Candida albicans yeast thrives on sugar. The amount of sugar in your body, your blood, and your digestive system is
directly linked to what you put in your mouth. You truly are what you eat.
Most of us know logically that a
healthy diet plan using a basic system
will help us prevent numerous future health problems. Health
problems like type 2
diabetes and obesity.
But knowing that healthy eating helps us, doesn't necessarily
translate into us actually doing and practicing healthy eating habits.
The good news is that just like type 2 diabetes, the sooner you catch Candida, the better chance you have of avoiding
long term damage and related health problems.
Most people are not motivated to change their habits, particularly their eating habits, until they start to FEEL
bad.
Most will try using medicine first. Medicine can fill a need - it can give immediate relief from your symptoms! Of course, we would want that!
But, people won't usually change their behaviour until they are forced to.
Often, not until the
medicine isn't working any more or it just gets too expensive. A balanced healthy diet is not what we first turn to.
What Sugar Addictions Are Doing To Us...
It is simply crazy. People know that eating tons of sugar, white flour and junk food is not good for them. But, it just
tastes so good - it is very hard
to stop the sugar cravings.
In fact, some people describe sugar like crack cocaine. Sugar stimulates the same
part of the brain as crack cocaine does. Our
brain responds to and craves sugar, like a drug addict craves cocaine. No wonder it can be so hard to beat sugar cravings.
It can all seem very unfair. Just cutting out sugar and all foods with sugar, can be a huge change to your eating habits.
Sugar is in everything these days. For many,
sugar is an all out addiction! On the Candida diet, limiting your sugar intake isn't enough. You can't have just 1 teaspoon in your tea.
You need to eliminate sugar all together! Don't panic! We have many
tips and tricks for how to stop sugar cravings.
And, there are some
great sugar substitutes that are allowed on the anti-candida diet. Learn the real story about the
dangers of stevia. Also, see what
agave sweetener is about and if it is
good for managing Candida and yeast infections.
But, don't think you are ok if sweets are not your weakness. Even if you don't go overboard on the sugar, you may
overindulge in too many
simple carbohydrates.
Your weakness may be the breads, baked goods, potatoes, white rice or
fried foods. Most people have their vices or foods that they crave that are not the most healthy choices.
What about breads, crackers, and fruit? All of these
simple carbohydrates are no longer allowed. Yikes! This no flour, no sugar diet
is a big change, isn't it? But don't worry, there are many
low carbohydrate foods you can try.
In fact, you will be surprised at what you
will enjoy eating once you realize how good it makes you feel. You'll enjoy making
low glycemic foods part of your balanced healthy diet plan.
Our Bodies Are Losing The Fight - We are Getting Sick From How We Eat
Unfortunately, our bodies can only take so much. If we keep feeding our bodies the wrong, unhealthy food choices,
eventually, our bodies will become overloaded and begin to shut down.
This looks different for different people.
Some develop heart trouble, some develop
diabetes, some gain weight, some develop food and
dairy allergies....and
some will develop Candida and yeast infections. A balanced healthy diet can be preventative and curative.
A Yeast Infection Diet Is Another Way
To Say "Eat Healthy", Eat a Balanced Healthy Diet
It is possible to follow a
simple Candida diet and use some
Candida diet guidelines to get your yeast infection
and Candida under control.
Yes, the Candida yeast diet can be challenging.
When you eat a more balanced healthy diet, most people have to cut out some of their favorite foods. And, this can be hard to do.
You will likely have to learn a whole a new way of thinking about food! It is hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
I mean, it is hard for us to change our old habits. Poor eating can be a hard habit to break.
The yeast infection diet usually means that people have to go to a no sugar no flour diet - at least for awhile.
And, eat many, many more vegetables.
This is hard for everyone at first. But, if you stick with it, and make it past the detox part and the cravings -
you will be amazed at how great you feel.
Once you start to feel better you will be more motivated to keep up your new way of thinking.
Keep Your Balanced Healthy Diet Going...
Sometimes, it takes awhile to learn that eating well is your best option in the long run. Often, people just change their
eating habits until they start to feel better. As soon as they feel better, they go back to eating in their old way again.
Unfortunately, it is usually just a matter of time until the candida albicans overgrowth, yeast infections, weight gain or
other health problems resurface.
Believe me, eating a balanced healthy diet is your ticket to good health. Even if you don't have any yeast infection
symptoms or chronic Candida, there is no better time than now to start eating well.
But, don't listen to me....listen to your body....hear what your body is telling you.
