penile yeast infection

(Brooklyn,ny)

I had a penile yeast infection and I applied Clotrimazole and it completely vanished. But I have some digestive problems and some white coating on my tongue. It's been about 2 weeks since I got the infection. What do I need to do to get my digestive system strong again and get rid of this white tongue? Thank you

Some ideas...

If you are unsure of what is causing your symptoms or why you feel lousy, the best thing to do is to go see a health professional to get a proper diagnosis.

In the meantime, there are some things that you could try on your own.

1. For a white coating on your tongue there are some home remedies and treatment ideas for oral candida at:
http://www.yeast-infection-answers.com/oral-candida.html

Even swishing a diluted mixture of apple cider vinegar and water - start with 2 tbsp in a glass of warm water - may help get rid of some of the white coating.

(You will likely have to deal with your digestive issues at the same time in order for the white tongue to get cleared up.)

2. Yogurt can help both your digestive issues and your white tongue. See the benefits of yogurt page for more ideas:

3. Changing your diet can help with digestive issues that are Candida related. Our nutrition section has much information on following a balanced healthy diet:

It is critical that your reduce or even better, eliminate, the sugar in your diet. Our stevia and sugar tips section should give you some ideas of how to get started.

Hope this helps and that you are feeling better soon. Please come back and visit the site regularly as I add regular updates, tips and improvements whenever possible.

Take care!
