Symptoms of Yeast Infection and Candida Albicans Symptoms - My Story

I am hoping that by sharing with you some of the symptoms of yeast infection and systemic candidiasis I experienced with Candida, you might gain some insight into your own symptoms.

Probably one of the hardest things about Candida is that it's symptoms tend to be vague and could be attributed to a large array of illnesses and diseases.

Because of the crossover of symptoms, if a doctor or health care provider isn't familiar with Candida, you may be treated for numerous conditions without seeing an improvement.

At times, I felt that maybe it was all in my head. Maybe, I was becoming a hypochondriac. Maybe, the doctor was right when he told me that problems with symptoms of yeast infection and digestive issues were just a fact of life for women as they got older. (No, thankfully, they weren't right!

It is so easy to become overwhelmed
by the variety and disconnect of Candida Albicans' symptoms.

Here is what I experienced...

My first symptom was the most common one - a yeast infection. Yes, down there.

In my late 20's this was really my only clue that something was not right. Back then, I eventually was diagnosed and successfully treated.

My second time around with major Candida, I had tons of different Candida Albicans symptoms and symptoms of yeast infection. It all seemed to develop around the arrival of our third child.

During the later stage of pregnancy, around 30 weeks, I developed gestational diabetes.

I didn't think too much of it at the time.

foods to avoid I certainly was sad I couldn't continue to eat sweets, desserts and basically whatever I wanted. However, I was happy that I was able to control my blood sugar levels through nutrition and exercise. I didn't need any medications.

It wasn't until later, in hindsight, that I realized that this gestational diabetes could have been the beginning of the Candida takeover.

After our third child was born. All seemed fine - for awhile. Then, Candida Albicans symptoms started to surface.

About 2 years later, my hair started to thin and fall out, and I often started to feel nauseous after eating.

This progressed to all out vomiting. Not fun!

Even though I had the baby a long time before, my stomach would become extremely bloated - like I was 6 months pregnant. I felt tired all the time.

Then the skin rashes started - super itchy patches of skin. Especially behind my knees, on my torso, in patches on my arms.

I was getting colds all the time. My nose was always running - like a nasal drip, often only on one side. Kleenex became my new best friend.

And then, oh joy, I started to have yeast infections. This was the final straw.

Looking back on my symptoms, they can all be linked to Candida albicans symptoms and symptoms of yeast infection. But, unfortunately, they also can be linked to other illnesses.

Depending on the severity and number of Candida Albicans symptoms, it is sometimes hard to figure systemic candida out by yourself.

The good news is, once my Candida had a proper candida diagnosis and I began treatment, I immediately noticed an improvement.

I do still have some special food requirements in my simple candida diet due to lingering food sensitivities, but otherwise I feel fabulous!

I hope that learning about my Candida Albicans' symptoms helps you figure out if you have yeast related health issues. There are so many yeast infection symptoms that are linked to Candida.

Keeping track in a food/health diary was critical to figuring it all out for me. I really believe that only we truly know our bodies the best,
