The only sitz baths I have used are the apple cider vinegar ones I described in part 1. Check these out.

taheebo tea

Taheebo tea is another name for Pau d'arco tea which is the bark from the Lapacho evergreen tree.

tea tree oil

I have used tea tree oil to treat vaginal yeast infections.

I put tea tree oil on a tampon and inserted for 3 hours.

It was very effective, but strong smelling.

This treatment worked well for me and is easy to do as I usually always have tampons and tea tree oil on hand.

Vitamin B6

I take 250 mg per day of vitamin B6 for the 10 days before my menstrual cycle to help with PMS symptoms.

It is very common for people who suffer from Candida to also experience strong PMS symptoms.

Candida infection disrupts the metabolism of vitamin b6 so it is important to make sure your multivitamin has adequate levels of B6.

Vitamin C

I take 1/4 teaspoon of vitamin C daily, in a little water.

I like the effervescent kind like these vitamin C crystals from Natural Factors.

Vitamin D

While treating yeast infections and after, I take 400-800iu/day of vitamin d. This is usually part of my multi-vitamin that I take.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E oil is great for vaginal dryness, cracking and itching.

I have used and liked the results.

This Jamieson brand is readily available. It is very thick, almost like a serum.

Y

yogurt

I used to eat yogurt on a regular basis, but now I am lactose intolerant.

I don't use anything with dairy in it and react to any type of treatment with dairy in it.

If you can tolerate dairy, yogurt is one of the many excellent treatments for yeast infection. It is very popular for many. Just look for sugar free.

Z

Zymex wafer

I used these as vaginal suppositories for yeast infections. I used 1 wafer for 14 consecutive nights before my menstrual cycle began. It was horrible! Zymex wafers have dairy in them, which I reacted to causing my symptoms to become worse.

Be sure to avoid these if you are allergic to dairy like me.

Zymex wafers promote and maintain an ideal healthy pH range so that they can act as a deterrent to vaginal infections for others who tolerate dairy.

As you can see, there are many, many treatments for yeast infection out there for treating and killing Candida.

I have used and still use many of these treatments. Some of them are great as a preventative measure, while others make sense for keeping my immune system supported.

With close to 50 treatments for yeast infection described in parts 1, 2, 3 and in this final part 4, you are sure to see something that you think may work for you.

I am surprised that I have used so many different things to kill Candida and deal with yeast infections during the last 15 years.
